Turkish Airlines has introduced the FLYING CHEF service on its Mumbai-Istanbul-Mumbai route from January 1, 2016. The FLYING CHEF service would deliver a restaurant like an experience, and an array of dishes to cater to the business class passengers flying the Mumbai-Istanbul route.Business class passengers would get to indulge in carefully crafted menus, which will be rotated regularly in order to provide new options for frequent travellers, every time they fly Turkish Airlines.Mehmet Akay, General Manager, Western and Southern India, Turkish Airlines said, “We are happy to introduce FLYING CHEF service on our Mumbai-Istanbul-Mumbai route. We aim to deliver a delightful on-board experience for all our guests. We were overwhelmed with the feedback we received for the Flying Chef service on our long haul routes and hence we decided to introduce this service on our flights to and from Mumbai as well.”Under the FLYING CHEF service, all business class passengers would be greeted with a choice of welcome drinks as soon as they board the aircraft. To add to the on-board bar experience, guests would be offered a wide selection of cocktails as well as carefully selected assortments of Turkish and International beers and wines. Traditional Turkish tea and coffee would also be available on board. A choice of multiple cuisines including Indian would be available on all international flights and the guests would be offered a choice of sweet delights post meals which include an assortment of fruit, cheese and sweets.
